ONE NIGHT STAND

The Hallam Hotel did it.  You did it.

On Sunday the 8th of June, 2008 we all participated in what we have all been talking about for some time now... a ONE NIGHT STAND!

It was always going to be a night to remember but this was heavily confirmed on late Sunday afternoon, when the PRE-SALE ticket allocation was SOLD OUT.  So when the hands of time rocked around the clock to 8 - we knew it was going to be GREAT! And so it was...

There was a mysterious vibe in the air that night - and we believe it was felt by all. Anxious, uncertain, and many mixed emotions - but mostly excitement (and perhaps even relief) - as the Hallam Hotel was geared to present the most exciting night it's seen in years.

And they came... ...dressed only to impress.  They drank, they danced, they reunited and they behaved - so we are all now convinced that we can do it all again!

Thank you to everyone for making this night a major success.. shall we see you again for a ONE NIGHT STAND???

HALLAM HOTEL HIGH ON ENTERTAINMENT

Built in 1872, the Hallam Hotel once a little pub in the country – now an award winning established venue in the south-east “burbs” for friendly bistro dining, function rooms and an amazing array of entertainment to suit all ages.

The mass of local community request for popular music outfits to return to the Hallam has contributed to the success of these events and leaves the Hallam open to many great Aussie Acts demanding to be added to the bill.

OLD BUT GOOD NEWS

In March Canadian artist Corb Lund flew in to perform with his band ‘The Hurtin’ Albertans’. It was a great night, entertaining all with his unique music quality.  He claims to be unconstrained by the typical Country Artist stereotype and rewards his listeners with honest lyrical and creatively calculated music.

Corb attracted a societal mix of fans varied in age who sung along word-by-word to the melodic tunes and after the show fans were treated to an exclusive, “Meet & Greet” session, where Corb and his band signed posters, cds and even Utes in the car park!

JIMMY BARNES broke in Hallam Hotel's new big stage and wowed hundred of fans on Tuesday the 18th of September.  This has been another successful act the Hallam Hotel.  Pics are on file and will be posted soon as are website has the photo gallery added in.

MEET & GREETS have been working a treat in the Hallam Hotel Mezz Lounge Area (Bistro walkway).

August the 7th we staged THIRSTY MERC with supports acts, RED INK and THE HAMPDENS. This was the first stand-up show the Hallam Hotel has seen in years.  It was very rewarding to see THIRSTY MERC engage in the friendly chit-chat and sign merchandise (and various body parts) after the show. [TM came back and did it again.. and signed lots of 'OTHER' body parts too!] August 15th 2007 - ADAM HARVEY - What an artist!  This sit-down show sounded fantastic and brought on many-a-laughs - It was great to have ADAM back and we are already looking forward to having him back!
