LOU BRADLEY
Tuesday 23rd March 2010
Lou Bradley has just released her second album La La La Not Listening, led by a title track directed at those that would dare pigeonhole or try to stifle this free spirited, ARIA- nominated, talent. It's her first through the Slim Dusty and Joy McKean Nulla label.
Lou calls it 'Hillbilly Pop' or maybe 'Bohemian Country'. Which makes sense, considering she grew up on Sydney's northern beaches, left home at 15 and joined a rock band, married the guitarist and had all three of their children by the time she was 24, was an 'A' philosophy student until she realised she was sick of only talking about a good life and decided to run away with her family and move to the hills of Mullumbimby and live one. Living happily ever after was the plan as they settled in this idyllic locale playing music and writing songs. They are still there and still doing that.
"I remember someone told me when I was playing at a café in Mullumbimby, that I sounded like a country singer and my songs were like country songs," Lou says. "It never really occurred to me what sort of singer I was. Some of my songs are about the land, some are about people and some about life and how it all seems to me."
"Lou Bradley is a singer/songwriter that's resolutely honest and true to her art. Working her way through folk, pop, bluegrass and old-time country, she covers all bases with oodles of conviction.

The McClymonts
Wednesday 17 March 2010
The McClymonts weave a very special kind of musical magic. With their exquisite three-part harmonies, soaring vocals and stunning onstage presence, it's not surprising that the girls (sister's Brooke, Samantha and Mollie) have taken the Australian music scene's collective breath away.
Since forming a few short years ago, and releasing their debut album, 'Chaos and Bright Lights', they've dominated the Country music Awards of Australia's Group of the Year Category, winning the Golden Guitar three years in a row.
'Kick It Up' is the name of the new album that is due for release at Tamworth in January 2010 and 'Wrapped Up Good' single has just been released (November, 2009).

ADAM HARVEY
'By Request'
Wednesday 14th April 2010
When Adam Harvey decided he wanted to record a duets album, he went to Sony and said, 'It'd be great if a person can pick up the album and know every song and know every artist on there, so hopefully people won't look at it and think, 'Who's that?'"
For 'Both Sides Now' (released late 2009), Adam has assembled the likes of Kasey Chambers and Shane Nicholson, John Williamson, Shannon Noll, Beccy Cole, Troy Cassar-Daley, Wendy Matthews, David Campbell, The McClymonts, Leo Sayer, Renee Geyer, Tommy Emmanuel and Guy Sebastian for an unforgettable set of classic songs performed by well-known Australian artists.
"Whenever Troy Cassar-Daley and I get together we seem to find a corner somewhere out of the way and sit down, get our guitars out and sing old country songs," Adam explains. "I said to him that we should record something and he said he'd love to. So I started to think, over the years I've had a few people say they'd love to record a duet or something with me and that's when the idea first popped into my head."
"Kasey Chambers is a great friend of mine so she was an obvious choice, and Beccy Cole and I have worked together and done duets in the past".
The Hallam Hotel are delighted to have Adam back again, this time presenting his show, Adam Harvey 'By Request'.
